Jan., 1915; With official permission he then proceeded to England and was posted to the Royal Fusiliers. Mentioned in a Despatch from General the Rt. Hon. Louis Botha for gallant and distinguished services in the Field in German South-West Africa in 1915. Asst. Military Instructor Kilworth Camp, Ireland. Captain 6th Infantry Regt.
