Forteviot Parish Churchyard, Perthshire: headstones of the three Bonthrone brothers interred side by side. Four sons of William Bonthrone of Green of Invermay, Forgandenny fell - three are interred in this churchyard and in consecutive graves. The other brother who also fell was Private Thomas Bonthrone of the 1st/6th Bn. Black Watch (Royal Highlanders)~ Service No:_x000B_3832. He was 35 when killed on 13th August 1916 and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France.
