HOLTON G - PM - Name just legible. No change with regard to legibility... Dark staining (algae) is making the letters more difficult to distinguish, particularly the surname which is on a lower slab bearing the casualty's wife's inscription (noted that while this marker has been reported for professional cleaning, advised 10-jan that it is within tolerance ). Moderate weeding done within the grave area but grass patches left (the location of the grave means that the council mowing and strimming does not reach this grave and the absence of kerb stones/stone chips means weeds are not supressed - Still hopeful that the few clumps of grass could spread providing a surface which looks tidier year round).
