First Lieutenant Peter John Gordon Milton, 1/2nd Provost Company, Corps of Military Police

Peter was educated at Wrekin College, Shropshire, the son of Joseph John Milton & Frances Muriel Mustill Milton of Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
He died on Tuesday 13 August 1946 aged 20 whilst stationed with the RMP in Iraq.
He is buried within Basra War Cemetery. Peter Milton was the last of over one hundred Old Wrekinians who gave their lives in the course of freedom during the Second World War. "Aut Vincere Aut Mori"
