Frank Milam was born in Hartley Wintney in 1894 to William and Lucy Milam. The family lived at Purdies Farm Cottages on nearby Hazeley Heath, they are shown living there in the 1911 census and Frank is working as a labourer.
Frank served with the Hampshire Regiment and died of his wounds on the 12th August 1926. He is buried at the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery. He is remembered on the War Memorial in front of St. John's Church in Hartley Wintney.
