Location information

Follow Cathcart Street out of town in the direction of Aliwal North for 0.5 kilometres from the Cradock turn-off. Turn right and follow the gravel road to the cemetery. The majority of the graves are situated in the military plot (Sections J and K).

During the 1939-45 war, No.47 Air School, as part of the Empire Air Training Scheme, operated from the local aerodrome.
