Location information

Schoenenbourg is a village 42 kilometres north of Strasbourg and 10 kilometres south of Wissenbourg, a town and sub-Prefecture of the Department of the Bas Rhin near the German frontier. The village is on the main road (D264) from Strasbourg to Wissenbourg.

In the south-western corner of the churchyard are the graves of two soldiers of the army of undivided India who died while prisoners of war.
