Location information

Holwerd, in the commune of Westdongeradeel, is 26 kilometres north of Leeuwarden.

The churchyard is on the northern outskirts of the village. Near its north-western corner are the graves of 5 airmen; one from the United Kingdom and four from New Zealand.
