The cemetery is in the South-West part of the Borough, covers nearly 100 acres. It belongs to the Corporation.

The graves are scattered in all parts of the cemetery, and a War Cross is erected.

There are now nearly 160, 1914-1918 and almost 60, 1939-1945 war casualties commemorated in this site.
